Lyrics

We don’t like it when you turn and walk away
But we don’t mind it when you stall
My name is for me, my nights a matinee
With every pattern a pitfall

The only prime I ever knew has soon decayed
The only time I’ve ever seen has ricocheted
Nobody knows right away when they’ve been played
For that there is no protocol

Sometimes it seems like there is a bitter curse on me
Buried under the rubble of long-forgotten memories

No gas in the tank, no money in the bank
Not every conversation has been frank
You’ve got no bearings, your wheels are not aligned
It’s your own future you’ve undermined

Sometimes it seems like there is a bitter curse on me
Buried under the rubble of long-forgotten memories

The dreams of the past are dyed and cast
Within tombs that are grown in screams and moans
And we don’t bone anything that don’t deserve to last
They call us out at home, where we’ve amassed

Sometimes it seems like there is a bitter curse on me
Buried under the rubble of long-forgotten memories

Matt Carlton used to be allowed to perform music in front of people, but where he lives that's been banned for the public good.
Now he spends most of his time staring at a computer, pretending to play notes with his fingers as he types out words for his website.

If you are looking for any of the "old" albums, well, they are all out there on the web (even the pseudonymous one)...
Shortcut, here's a link to a 14-song collection: https://carltoncomplex.bandcamp.com/releases
